Kilometres of blond sand dunes link Playa del Inglés with Maspalomas Beach, a route bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and rocked by the warm trade winds. The southern coast of Gran Canaria is undoubtedly notable for the Protected Natural Area of the Maspalomas Dunes, whose landscape is completed by the impotent Maspalomas Lighthouse.

Maspalomas Dunes

Maspalomas Dunes Natural Reserve is made up of three ecosystems: the Palm Grove, the Pond and the Dunes, and it extends just a few metres from the sea. The whole area is an enormous natural space of exceptional value.
Maspalomas Lighthouse

Built in 1861, it presides over Maspalomas Beach and is the starting point of the commercial area of Meloneras. Since then, it has witnessed thousands of sunny days, honeymoons and walks by the sea.
Fataga & Tunte

Fataga and Tunte are the inland villages of San Bartolomé de Tirajana and are a must to visit to get to know the tradition and gastronomy of the south of Gran Canaria. They also offer excellent hiking and cycling routes, among other options.
